For years, United Anglers of Southern California has focused on signing up and renewing members on-site at the Fred Hall Fishing Tackle & Boat Shows in Long Beach and Del Mar, with the added incentive of free admission to the show. For 2008, we’re doing something a little different and a lot better.
Anglers have the opportunity to join UASC or renew their current membership at their own convenience through the mail or by phone. Then all they have to do is bring their new membership card to the Fred Hall Show to receive their free admission ticket and special entry in to the show. This allows fishermen to avoid waiting in line and eliminates having to fill out forms when you’re anxious to get inside and enjoy the show. Applications need to be completed and returned by March 1 in order to take advantage of the Fred Hall Show entry in Long Beach, or before March 21 for the Del Mar show. You’ll receive your membership card in the mail — then bring it to our booth outside the Fred Hall Show to claim your free show pass along with other goodies. You must bring your new membership card, please!
The real exciting news, however, is the addition of extra benefits for anglers who take advantage of this membership drive. In addition to the one-year membership in UASC for $40, members get entry into the show, a 2008 UASC calendar and a free one-year subscription to one of two leading magazines for boaters and fishermen.
Members will receive one year’s worth of Trailer Boats Magazine and Pacific Coast Sportfishing, both top-notch publications filled with interesting articles and expert advice that can make everyone a better boater and angler. This offer is for new subscribers only. If you’re already a current subscriber to these magazines, you can use this special offer to give a gift subscription to a friend.
